Have a great summer, from Teach for Wellness! ☀️

Congratulations on the end of another successful school year!

We’re so grateful that you’re a part of the Teach for Wellness community, and that you’re committed to creating safer, healthier, and stronger schools and communities. You work hard for your students all year, so take the summer to rest and recharge, focus on your own wellness, and celebrate the hard work you put in this year.

8 Dimensions of Wellness for Educators

  • As you recharge over the summer, consider using this framework to support you in thinking about wellness holistically, and maybe even set some goals for how to focus on a few of these wellness dimensions next year.
  • Transitions in and out of school breaks can be challenging for students. Check out this article to help you if you support kids during the summer months, or to help you set yourself and your students up for success next year.

Learn with the MTA and Earn PDPs!

There is never enough time during the school year, so earning PDPs and worrying about licensure requirements can often feel overwhelming and get pushed to the side.

MTA, or the Massachusetts Teachers Association, is offering free professional development workshops over the summer, with the opportunity for educators to earn up to 15 PDPs eligible towards license renewal.

With topics ranging from Neurodivergence to Diverse and Inclusive Books, there are sessions that will undoubtedly support teachers in creating safer and healthier classrooms. Registration is open, so please click here if you’re interested in signing up!
